• POSITIVE ION CONTROL: Counteract fish-repelling negative energy fields with Cannon’s Positive Ion Control technology. Emits a field of positive ions to draw fish to the cannonball – right where you want ’em.
• SHORT-STOP: Automatically stops the weight at the water’s surface, preventing the lift motor from raising it into the pulley at the end of the boom. When the downrigger cable is in the water, a small electrical current flows between the cable and grounded metal boat components in the water. When the cable clears the water, the current flow stops. The Short-Stop system senses this interruption and turns off the motor. The trolling weight insulator is used to break the cable contact to the water while the weight is still in the water. Stopping the weight at water level eliminates the cable strain caused by a bouncing weight or a weight hitting the boom end, and it also keeps the weight from swinging into the boat hull. This feature requires the boat to be properly grounded.

• CANNONLINK: The new CannonLink™ Fishing System Module from Humminbird® unlocks the potential of your Humminbird Fishfinder (Humminbird 1100, 900, 700 or Matrix Series) by allowing you to network up to six Cannon Mag20 DT/TS and Mag20 DT/HS downriggers to the fishfinder. Operate each downrigger directly from your fishfinder to put yourself in command of one powerful fishing machine.
  Through an intuitive menu controlled from the Fishing System, the user can quickly set-up and update settings that operate the downriggers. When fishing short-handed on the boat, the CannonLink module enables the captain to easily operate the downriggers from the console, while the mate tends to the rigging lines.

  Applications: By viewing sonar, temperature at depth and clarity information on screen while piloting the boat, the Captain can monitor and position downriggers in real time to the optimal depth to vastly increase the catch.
• STAINLESS STEEL SPOOL: For our tournament-fishing friends, we offer a new stainless steel spool, capable of supporting either monofilament or any of the popular “super lines.” The only stainless steel spool in the industry, it eliminates the noise vibration and harmonics created when trolling with a steel cable. When the money is at stake, you’ll get silent trolling and proven Cannon performance.
• DIGI-TROLL™: Advanced electronic control panel provides:
  • Cycle function that automatically jigs the weight up and down at a set depth / time interval
  • Memory storage of five different depths
  • Programmable descent / retrieve rates of 110, 150 or 250 feet per minute
  • Bottom tracking mode that keeps weight at a set distance off the bottom (with purchase of optional transducer)
